The decisive difference lies not in the length of the input, but in the mental preparation behind it. The following questions show concretely what good prompting looks like and how to improve it in a targeted way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do you recognise a poorly worded prompt?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A poorly worded prompt is vague, lacking in context, and without a clear goal. It gives the AI insufficient information about exactly what is needed, who the output is intended for, or what format the response should take. The result is correspondingly unspecific and requires several rounds of revision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Typical characteristics of a weak prompt are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n <li>No clear objective or task definition<\/li>\n <li>Missing context about target audience, purpose, or background<\/li>\n <li>Contradictory requirements, for example a &#8222;detailed summary&#8220;<\/li>\n <li>Leading questions when an objective answer is desired<\/li>\n <li>Unclear or ambiguous phrasing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result: the AI has to guess what is meant.
